為了培養(yǎng)出忠實(shí)效忠于成人、在逆境中堅(jiān)忍不拔的青少年一代，日本政府出臺(tái)《BR》法案。每年都從全國學(xué)校隨機(jī)抽出一個(gè)班級(jí)的同學(xué)，前往荒島進(jìn)行生存極限挑戰(zhàn)——老師發(fā)給學(xué)生地圖、糧食和各式武器，令他們自相殘殺，直到存活下來的最后一個(gè)，才能離開荒島。接下來，殘酷的游戲規(guī)則和令人絕望的生存條件，使班級(jí)里的年輕人開始了相互殺戮。善良或者兇殘，主動(dòng)出擊或者被動(dòng)防守， 同學(xué)們開始了各自的計(jì)劃，人性的丑惡在血腥的死亡中暴露無遺。
大逃殺的游戲在荒島上壯烈上演。究竟學(xué)生們的宿命如何，誰才是最后的存活者。
